Back for it's eighth year, the What a Wheeze 5km Christmas Cracker and 1 Mile Fun Run has become a firm festive favourite for runners!
The 5km is open to runners of all abilities - it's a fast, mostly flat course taking in 3 laps of the beautiful Ropner Park. For younger runners and those wanting a shorter distance, a single lap, 1 mile fun run takes place at 9:30am, before the main race.
As in previous years, profits from this race will go to Asthma + Lung UK.
The event has sold out ahead of the date in previous years so don't miss out on this fabulously festive start to your Christmas celebrations!
The 5km is open to runners aged 14 years or over - it's a fast, mostly flat, multi-lap course which is run on tarmac.
The 1m Fun Run is a single lap and is open to all ages and abilities, but children aged under 8 must be accompanied by an adult.
Participants receive a medal on completion of their race.
There are toilet facilities available.
Entries before 15th December will be posted out - after which they will be collect on the day
Festive Fancy Dress is entirely optional but actively encouraged and there are prizes for our favourite costumes!
Fees for the 5k are £8 for UKA attached adults, £10 for non UKA attached.
Fees for the fun run are £5 for all ages
